U15 Outdoor Division



 

U15 House League

 

This outdoor season (2023/2024) the U15 (2009,2010) program will be mixed gender groups.

 

Players are still in the Soccer for Life Stage. Athletes in this age group can expect to play 2 games per week. There is still a need for practice sessions so there will be coach-directed practice during the session. 

 

Extra training is available through our Fort St John Northern Strikers program.  Separate registration is required for the Fort St John Northern Strikers.

 

The Season will run from April 29th (weather permitting) to June 13th and will end with a round robin tournament during the weekend of June 14-16.

 

Play will be 2 days per week for 55 minutes. The style of match is a game, activity, game format allowing for players to be coached for technical and tactical growth, and will take place the Fort St John Futsal Pitch (9504 96 Street)

 

Teams will be coached by trained and screened volunteer coaches.

 

Game night will consist of 2 - 20-minute halves 5v5 (4v4 plus keeper) on a futsal field and will have a referee manage the game.  Teams will be selected at the beginning of the season, with team balancing to be done at the end of two weeks if needed, and again mid-season if needed.

 

Required Equipment

  • running or indoor shoes
  • shin guards
  • soccer socks
  • shorts with no zippers or pockets
  • a labelled water bottle.

 

A jersey will be provided for the season, upon receipt of a Jersey deposit, and will be returned in good clean condition at the end of the season.

 

NO players will be allowed to wear jewelry.
