This Indoor season the U11 (2014,2015) program will be mixed gender groups.
Players are now in the Learning to Train Stage. While still emphasizing fun, players will now start to learn the value of communication, teamwork and problem solving.
Individual skill development will continue to be a priority in training and players are encouraged to continue to experiment with the game.
The Grassroots Coordinator will support the JR Coaches, and parent coach volunteers by providing training activities to ensure that all players are being provided the same opportunities to develop and enjoy the game, while follow Long Term Player Development.
Extra training is available through our Fort St John Northern Strikers program. Separate registration is required for the Fort St John Northern Strikers.
The Season will run from September 30 - February 20th and will end with a Festival style windup during the weekend of February 21-23
Play will be 2 days per week for 45-60 minutes and will take place the Dr Kearney Sports Field (10723 92 St, Fort St John, BC V1J 3J4)
Training night will consist of station rotation activities based on Long Term Player Development Models, designed by the Technical Director, led by JR Coaches and supported by the volunteer parent coaches.
Game night will consist of 3 - 15-minute games 5v5 (4v4 plus keeper) on a third of the field and will have a referee manage the game. Based on Grassroots match standards, teams (or groups) will be selected at the beginning of each game night based on the players that are there and fixed team rosters for the season will not be used.

A T-shirt will be provided and will be yours to keep.
NO players will be allowed to wear jewelry.
